Some GeekBar users notice small problems during daily use. These issues are usually easy to manage and do not take much effort to fix. By paying attention to such signs such, users can take simple steps to continue using their device without interruption.
Device not firing:
If the Geekbar vape does not produce vapour after drawing, it may mean the battery is finished. GeekBar devices are not rechargeable, so when the battery runs out, the device is ready to be replaced. However, if the device is still new and not working, check the air holes. Sometimes, small pieces of plastic or packaging material may block airflow.
Weak vapour production:
When the vapour feels less than usual, the e-liquid may be low, or the battery may be close to finishing. There is no way to refill a GeekBar, so this is a sign that the device is near its end. In cooler places, vapour production may also drop slightly. Letting the device rest at room temperature sometimes helps.
Flavor tastes burnt:
A burnt taste may appear if the liquid runs out while the coil is still heating. This happens near the end of the vape’s usage. Once the burnt taste appears, it usually means the device is finished. If the device is still full and has a burnt flavor early, it could be a factory issue. In that case, avoid further use and replace the unit.
Leaking from the mouthpiece:
Leakage is rare, but it may happen if the device is stored upside down or exposed to heat. Keep the device upright and in a dry, cool place. If liquid comes out from the top, wipe it clean with a tissue and avoid using the device until it settles. Gently blowing through the bottom airflow hole can sometimes clear extra condensation.
Gurgling sound:
A gurgling sound may be caused by e-liquid pooling near the mouthpiece. This can be fixed by holding the device upside down and tapping it gently. Avoid shaking it too hard, as this might push the liquid out of place.
Light not working:
If the indicator light does not blink during a draw, the battery might be empty. If the vape is still new and the light does not turn on, the device may be faulty. Replacing it with a fresh one is the next step.
